Literature Text
There's this box of hair
Just a little wood box
With little Celtic etchings on the side
He kept it safe while she's away
Away in that other country
On duty
He missed her terribly
Her laughs and smiles
They never doubted the love
And one day she was truly gone
Never to be seen again
So he kept her soft sweet hair in the box
And beside the little box
Are these ribbons
Seven of them
Each one a different color
Red, orange and yellow
Blue, Black, Purple and deep green
Just a little wood box
With little Celtic etchings on the side
He kept it safe while she's away
Away in that other country
On duty
He missed her terribly
Her laughs and smiles
They never doubted the love
And one day she was truly gone
Never to be seen again
So he kept her soft sweet hair in the box
And beside the little box
Are these ribbons
Seven of them
Each one a different color
Red, orange and yellow
Blue, Black, Purple and deep green
It's usually the other way around. Why not write about when the girl is gone instead of the man. I thought this one is actually beautiful. Also from a prompt- TheDailyPrompt

How do the ribbons tie into the story?
